Senior class
The year 2024 was a turning point in my journey as a teacher. At Tetsuryokukai, I had the opportunity to lead a class of third-year high school students for the first time—a role that came with a real sense of responsibility. I knew that my support could directly influence their future paths, so I poured my heart into everything: grading, lesson planning, one-on-one sessions, and answering a steady stream of questions every week. The most memorable moment of the year came on March 10, when university admission results were released. Hearing that my students had been accepted into top schools like the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Science Tokyo, and Chiba University’s medical school filled me with pride. And when I found out that two of them had been accepted into Keio University School of Medicine—my own alma mater—it was especially meaningful. Knowing they’ll be my juniors made it all the more rewarding.
Junior class
Looking ahead, I’m really excited for the upcoming year. The students I’ve been working with since their second year of junior high are finally entering their last year of high school. Watching how much they’ve grown over the years and being able to support them through this final stretch is something I’m truly looking forward to.

Founded Information Science Course
2024 was also a landmark year for the Common Test for University Admissions, as it introduced Information Science for the first time. As one of the founding members of the Information Science Course, I was deeply involved in its creation, and I’m proud of what we achieved. I truly believe we built something that not only met the demands of this new subject but also set a strong standard for how it should be taught moving forward.
